Enjoy exploring the lake coves, swimming, fishing, sunbathing and relaxing on a pontoon boat you can rent from Atwood Lake Boats. They also have kayaks.

Visit wineries: Al-Bi Winery located on the east end of the lake. Wine tasting at Breitenbach Wine Cellars in Sugarcreek, Silver Moon Winery in Dover, Swiss Heritage Winery also in Dover, School House Winery and Gervasi Vineyard in Canton.
Motorcycling is choice in this area. Carroll County is one of four counties in all of Ohio that does not have a 4-lane highway. This makes riding perfect on the gently sloping and winding roads traveling through small towns. Sheltered parking is available at the inn.
Area festivals include: Atwood Fall Festival on the first weekend in October, Algonquin Mill Festival during the second weekend in October, Great Trails Festival in September, and Zoar Fall Harvest Festival and Christmas Festival.
