Located 90 minutes south of Cleveland, Ohio, 120 minutes east of Columbus, Ohio and west of Pittsburgh, PA, Whispering Pines, an Ohio B&B, is the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion or a romantic getaway.
Our lakeside inn provides a warm and friendly atmosphere with privacy in peaceful surroundings for a relaxing vacation away from the tourist crowds, yet convenient to many activities. The spectacular setting offers breathtaking views of Atwood Lake and the surrounding scenic wooded areas. A large variety of birds and wildlife visit the Inn daily. The grounds feature more than seven acres for wandering, including lush flower gardens, brick courtyard, outside decks, 2-person swing and two large ponds filled with colorful fish, meandering streams and a series of waterfalls designed by Bill and constructed in 2001. Our newest feature is a large fire pit with plenty of chairs for evening popcorn and observing the Milky Way.
The Inn is decorated with outstanding authentic antiques including a magnificent 650-piece collection of glass top hats displayed in elaborate antique china cabinets. We invite you to linger over a beautifully prepared breakfast served on the enclosed porch overlooking the lake or inside in cooler weather. A diverse menu features everything from fruit served warm or chilled, made from scratch baked goods and hot entrees. By request, early morning coffee will be delivered to your room.
We are a motorcycle travel friendly Inn. Carroll County is one of four counties in all of Ohio that does not have a 4-lane highway. This makes riding perfect on the gently sloping and winding roads. Sheltered parking available.
