Begin your getaway by wandering through the Inn enjoying the beautiful artwork, our 600-piece glass top hat collection, and all the outstanding antique furnishing.  Then meander outside where you will find a variety of flowers, bird feeders, and two large water ponds connected by waterfalls and streams with spectacular lake views. 

Day 1

Relax in the hammock, or sip wine on the deck.  Order a snack basket, grab a blanket and sit on the hillside overlooking the lake.

Stop at Al-Bi Winery before dinner at one of the area’s fine restaurants.  The winery is located on the lake and they will be happy to share their award winning blends.

When you return from dinner gather round the fire pit and roast marshmallows.  Many of our guests bring their guitar and entertain the group.

Day 2

Sleep in, have coffee delivered to your room then begin a leisurely breakfast served at your convenience.

Plan on renting a pontoon for a few hours for touring the lake, swimming, fishing and enjoying the sunshine.  

Have lunch at one of the marinas on the outside patio.

Schedule a late afternoon or early evening massage.

Dinner.

Play the 9-hole, par-3 golf course lighted until midnight.

Take a bowl of freshly popped popcorn to your room.

Day 3

Early morning room service for coffee and another fabulous breakfast.

Before you say good-bye, stop in our gift shop and take a memory home with you.

Finally, take a walk at Atwood Lake Park, complimentary entrance on us, and enjoy one of many walking trails.

You’ll return home feeling well rested and relaxed.

The lovely Bluebird Farm has created an old-fashioned atmosphere in a restored farmhouse. Their English tea is offered on Wednesday, April – November.  Scones, devonshire cream, preserves, finger sandwiches, sweet treats, fresh fruits and tea are served on vintage china and linen.  While visiting, tour the nationally recognized doll and toy museum, browse through the gift shop, walk the covered bridge and linger in the lush gardens.
